◆ What Is Point Chin Augmentation?

If a straight line is drawn from the nasal tip to the chin tip, the ideal face has the upper lip at 2-3 mm behind the line and the lower lip at 1-2 mm behind the line.

The short and receding chin makes the lips look relatively jutting out, and blurs the boundary between the neck and chin, producing an unattractive and ill-defined profile.

Depending on the severity of chin receding, chin augmentation osteotomy, implant surgery, fat graft or filler injection is used.
